Fear. What a small word that holds so much worldly weight. As we walk through our lives, at one time or another find ourselves in a season of fear, even though it may not look like it right away. We find ourselves numb, emotionless, and standing still. We find ourselves being distracted from God.
“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” ~ Isaiah 41:10
Fear does not come from God. In fact, nothing bad comes from God, but who usually gets the blame when something bad happens? God. We blame Him because we know He can stop anything literally, and yet He lets it happen, and we ask, “God, why did you allow this to pass through your hands? Why didn’t you cut the string before it happened?” It is because God sees all and knows all. He sees the beginning and the end. He uses what Satan means for bad, for His good, so that we learn to depend on Him and grow.
That is why there are seasons of growth and seasons of rest. We need the seasons of rest because of the upcoming mountains we are going to have to climb in seasons of growth because a lot of times before God moves the mountain we are praying to be moved, He asks us to climb a little higher because, in the end, it will benefit us and our relationship with our Father.
My friends, we serve a good, good Father. We must remember that with every passing season. We must remember that He is for us, not against us.
Much Love & God Bless,
Kylie Owens
