Okay, I know what your thinking, a cliché Thanksgiving week post about being thankful. Trust me, at first I thought the same thing. Then I thought, “No, it’s needed.” How many times a day do you stop and say thank you to God? How often do you pray for your wants?
Well guess what…God likes to hear those two little words, shocker I know. We like to hear it, so why wouldn’t he? We need to remember to tell him thank you. Even if you don’t think so, there is always something to be thankful for.
For instance, if you woke up today, you should be thankful for that because that means He isn’t done with you yet.
His love for us is unending. No matter how much we screw up or don’t listens and that is something to be thankful for.
If you are surrounded by loving people, such as family or friends, that is something to be thankful for.
Those two legged little minis running around your house, that is something to be thankful for.
If you have a job, that is something to be thankful for.
If you have some sort of shelter, that is something to be thankful for.
If you are not struggling for food or water, that is something to be thankful for.
Guys, I could go on and on, but I am not because I wanted to make this short and sweet. Don’t forget this season of thanks and don’t apply it just to this time, but all year round. You are so loved.
So, next time you send a prayer up, don’t forget to tell him thank you.
Much love,
Kylie
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
