So, how is everyone doing? Times seem to be getting crazy and crazier, aren’t they? In a weird way, it is kind of exciting! I mean this is what Christians were made for! Times just like this! We were made to go out into all the world and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28:19). We are supposed to go and shine the light of Jesus (Matthew 5:16). We honestly have one simple task, share the love and light of Jesus Christ our Lord, and Savior.
How does that task make you feel? Did you know that already or have you been riding in your comfort zone? Have you had the, “Yes I believe in Jesus, but I am going to do my own thing still” attitude?
Most of you will not like what I am about to say and you know what I am okay with that, a lot of us are saying we are saved by the blood but are not walking with Jesus. When you are truly saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, you give up everything for that relationship with Him. You sacrifice friendships, hobbies, heck even some family. You give it all to Him and when you genuinely do that, He will help guide you and get rid of all the toxic fluff the world has put in your life.
So, here is my challenge to you this week…dig down deep…I mean DEEP inside your soul and ask yourself, “am I where I need to be with Jesus” “Is my relationship with Him thriving?” “Is there even a relationship at all?”
We can choose courage and sacrifice it all for Jesus or we can choose the temporary comfort of the world, but my friends, we can’t have both.
