How many of you beat yourself up mentally? In your head things like I am not good enough, I am not pretty enough, or I am not smart enough. You are constantly second-guessing your choices. You feel inadequate. You just feel like you have failed, and those voices in your head are convincing you, that it is true.
I am here to tell you this my friend…rebuke those thoughts! In the name of Jesus, drive them out! That is Satan picking away at you. He wants in your head so he can control you with those nagging and aching thoughts. He is helping you dig that deep hole you are putting yourself in. He wants you to believe the lies. He wants you to believe that there is no way out. That you are alone.
And all of that is a LIE!
You are never alone. You are enough. You are smart. You are beautiful. You are a placed on this earth by the Master of design and he made you specifically, with all the tools to finish your own tasks and challenges that will be put before you, throughout your life. I want you to get so spiritually and mentally strong, that when you feel the attacks of Satan coming from behind, you just turn around and punch him right in the throat, and say, “Get out of here Satan! I am enough! Never come back! Not today or any other day! I am done with you!”
” Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” – James 4:7
Do not shrink back when you feel Satan coming on to you. Do not let him get a single word out of his mouth. Be resilient. Stand up and fight back. Because we as humans are the over-comers. God created us in His own image. We are His pride and joy. He created us to be strong and powerful. He gave us authority over all the other creations on the earth.
So throw away the broken records. Rejoice in your God-given strength. You were born fiercely free because you are healed and set free by Jesus Christ. Fall in love with yourself, people. Stop negative talking yourself. You, yourself will always fall short of perfection, so stop striving for it. You can’t get there, unless you accept Jesus as your Savior, because the He (and He alone) can bridge that gap between imperfection and perfection. How? Because He is perfection. He is clear of sin, because of the sinless life he lived here on earth.
Here is another amazing thing, when you accept Christ as your Lord and Savior, you just recruited an army for your own protection. Now, I am not saying you will now have an easy life or you will never have enemies. No. Honestly, this means the complete opposite. In today’s world, you are going to probably have more enemies and sometimes have a harder life, but the beauty of choosing salvation means that you never have to fight your battles alone, if ever, at all.
“The Lord will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.”
Deuteronomy 28:7
God is for us, not against us. He did not send His son Jesus Christ to condemn us, but to save us. He loves us and all of our flaws. So, why can’t we?
Because we are allowing ourselves to be picked away, piece by piece, by worldly things. We are measuring our lives by others successes and I am here to tell you that you are going to lose every time if you measure yourself by everyone else’s life.
So, I am going to wrap this all up with one of my favorite quotes:
“No one ever made a difference being like everyone else.” -P.T. Barnum
Much love to you all and God Bless,
Kylie
