To be honest, I currently have no idea what to write on, but I know as soon as I do start writing, God will start speaking. Isn’t it funny how often we find ourselves stuck? How sometimes we feel like, if we don’t know quite what to say or have all the answers, we find ourselves standing still for days, months even.
Lately, that is me. Maybe it is the “new mom brain”, maybe it is because I have two jobs that require a lot from me, maybe it is the farm, maybe it is all the other random stuff I do….these thoughts go through my brain daily. And while I can sit and make excuses about being confused on what topic to write on, etc. Maybe God just wants me to start and meet Him in the middle for once. Seek Him by worshiping in the form of writing.
Now don’t get me wrong, God will meet us where we are at in life and there are seasons we are called to be still, but as we grow and mature in our faith He helps us become a little more “independent” we could say. We are no longer on milk, but solid food. So, as a maturing Christian, I find Him pushing me more and more into starting and using discernment to get to where He wants me, things are not just black & white. Just like an earthly father would do for his child. Sometimes, they let their children struggle in order to become wiser and more in tune with what they need to do.
The beautiful thing about Jesus is that He is always there. No matter what He is there. When we feel alone, He is there. When we are completely broken, He is there. When we are tired, He is there. BUT! He is also there when we are full of excitement, happiness, and joy. He is there through every season of our lives, being the most patient and perfect Father.
